Boynton Family Farms is a multi-generational business, whose agricultural roots in the 1930s helped determine the development of successful farming in South Florida.
On our pastures in Loxahatchee and Yeehaw Junction, Florida, we raise purebred Hereford beef cattle. We are currently retaining our heifers for stock to help build our herd. Our intact bull calves are sold either privately or are sent to market after weaning. We do not often produce steers.
Genetics are very important to the success of our herd. The Loxahatchee property is primarily used to care for our weaned heifers without the stress of a breeding bull on site. Upon reaching maturity, these heifers are transported to Yeehaw Junction for breeding. There, we regularly rotate our herd bulls to insure clean gene pools.
